Hello my name is Steve Dibben and I founded The Wedding Filming Company in 1983.
At that time, not many people had even thought a wedding could be filmed and
edited together with music and titles, now it has become a requisite to have the day filmed.
We have always maintained a lead over the competition by advancing our equipment, our skills, creativity and being able to think several steps ahead when filming, coupled with our many years experience and now with 23 years of creating beautiful films, our clients can feel comfortable that we offer everything you need to produce the film that represents yourselves, your family and your friends faithfully and naturally to create such a lasting memory which will gain in value as the years pass.
So, you are inviting someone you don’t know to the most important day of your life, you are asking them to capture the essence of what the day means to you both, do you think you should leave it to an amateur? a friend? a company that is cheaper? You need to ask some fundamental questions, firstly, how will they work on the day?
Our presence on the day is very friendly and unobtrusive, which allows for natural shots and not the staged tacky, badly composed, and framed look you get with many other companies. What might seem a great website or cheap prices, will not necessarily reflect in the actual quality of the work.
When we meet/speak with a potential clients, we ask how they see the day, how they have planned it in their mind, their feelings and thoughts, what are the expectations, we need to know these elements to structure the day in the filming to give you the 30% that you witnessed and the other 70% you missed, and then in the edit, couple that with the music you have provided we can give you back the emotions you felt on the day each time you watch it.
