The Toastmaster will:

• Help the Bride & Bridegroom to relax and treasure every moment of their Special Day.
• Hold a meeting with the Bride & Bridegroom shortly before the Wedding Day to discuss all their requirements and wishes.
• Arrive at the venue early on the Day for a thorough check of all the arrangements on behalf of the Host and Hostess.
• Greet the Bride & Bridegroom, parents and guests on arrival at the venue and guide them to the Reception drinks.
• Give discreet assistance to the Bride & Bridegroom, parents, guests, photographer and others during the Reception.
• Arrange for all guests to be introduced to the Bride & Bridegroom and selected members of the wedding party.
• Announce and lead in to applause the Top Table for the Wedding Breakfast.
• Announce and lead in the Bride & Bridegroom to rapturous applause.
• Make any other required announcements.
• Keep a discreet and watchful ‘eye’ on everyone during the Wedding Breakfast and deal quietly with any matters that may require attention.
• Guide the Bride & Bridegroom through the tradition of ‘cutting the cake’.
• Provide assistance in preparation of the speeches and announcing the speakers in the correct order.
• Assist the Bride & Bridegroom with the presentation of gifts.
• Provide a suitable conclusion to the Wedding Breakfast.
• If a Civil Ceremony - assist and guide the Wedding Party and Guests immediately prior to and after the formalities of the Ceremony.
