Big Day Cakes
Big Day Cakes is a small, individual wedding cake company based in Somerset.
Our aim is to make the process of designing your wedding cake an enjoyable one.
You will be invited to my studio to view cakes I have on display and see a portfolio of photos of cakes I have designed.
I have been creating wedding cakes for 8 years now and in this time have won awards from The British Sugar Craft Guild, had training with a company creating cakes for Selfridges & Harrods and have taken commissions from the BBC. You will also find images of my cakes in the national “Wedding Cakes Magazines”, being one of only twelve companies nationally that they recommend.
I am also very happy to say that BDC is recommended by many wedding venues in the South West including Halswell House, Goathurst, The Castle Hotel, Taunton, Exeter University to name a few.
Big Day Cakes understands that it is nice to have a good idea of costs when it comes to working out your wedding budget, so I am very happy to price any design of cake all you have to do is pop a photo on email to me and I will send a quote back to you.
Thank you so much for making us such lovely cakes. When we saw them all on the stand it took our breath away, it looked so beautiful and just as I wanted. There were loads of complements from out guests. There is only one problem, I have this lovely stand and I am not sure what to do with it ?! Pity we don't have a birthday coming up and we could put small cakes on it. Perhaps I need to ask some people around for tea so that it can be used !
